  1. How would we access and article from 10/2012, v. 8(1) ? What role wil academic libraies play in moving towards an open access future? by Lucraft, Mithu. We can pay charges if not too expensive!

    1. Hi Pamela

All issues of ALISS quarterly older than one year are available on open access. Before this date members can access issues by using their username and password.
Single issues can be purchased for £14. Alternatively membership for individuals is £15 per annum, corporate membership is £35. This includes all print and online issues plus discounted access and free events that we run throughout the year. In either case, you are best to contact Heather Dawson, our secretary- you can find her details under “Join Aliss” or on the committee page. I have copied this reply to you via email and included her email address.

Hope that this helps answer your question.
      Regards
      Webmaster

  2. I am French and I am interested in a student publication :
“Whitton, N. & Jones, R. (2009). Alternate reality gaming information to media literacy. ALISS Quarterly, 4/3.”
How can I access the text? If I pay, I will pay

    1. Hi Nathalie

All issues of ALISS quarterly that are more than a year old are freely available- you can access this article by selecting the link above labelled “Aliss Quarterly – Previous”.

The article you want is actually in Vol 4 issue 4- July 2009. You will need to register with Issuu, which is where we store our back copies in order to download it, but the process is completely free. You can then download, save or print.

If you have any problems, please contact me- you can find my details in the committee section of the website, including your email, and I will email you a copy directly.

      Best wishes
      Vicky

  3. Hello,

    With thanks

  4. Dear publisher,

I tried an email address we have used for you in the past to contact you regarding our open orders with you. We just received a cheque sent back without any explanation. Can you please email me back (jessica.rouvinen@lminfo.fi) and I will provide you with a copy of the order so we can sort out this order.

    Best Regards,
    Jessica

    1. Hi Jessica

Sorry to hear this: not sure what has happened there. I have passed the inquiry on to our Secretary who should be in touch shortly.

      Best
