This ALISS showcase presents some explorations of opportunities, challenges and thoughts for the future from a range of different sectors hope you will find informative, educational and inspiring

Norma Menabney Subject Librarian Queen’s University Belfast AI at Work: What it is, how to use It, and what it means for us Will provide insight into her own personal experiences and tips as a subject librarian for using AI to improve workflows at QUB and how to keep up to date with new developments.
Diana Perks, House of Commons Library
Will discuss ongoing projects in this government sector library. Including : their Good Information Toolkit
Stacy Scott, Head of Accessibility, Taylor & Francis Publishing
Will give a short insight into where AI may be used by publishers in the future to improve accessibility Exciting developments and the challenges it could such as tagging, heading structure, image description, video content, and other areas.
The event is free and open to all. It will be held online via MS teams. It will not be recorded. Slides will be made available where possible
